Could not remove the temporary directory

Hi

I use LyX 2.1.1 in Windows 7.

I encounter the following message every time I close LyX whether or not I
closed the PDF viewer.

"Could not remove the temporary directory"
(followed by the address of the directory. )

Any idea what is going on?

Are you by chance using Adobe Acrobat as your PDF reader? If so, can
you try using Sumatra PDF reader and see if you have the same problem?

Yes, I was using Adobe as my pdf reader. And after following your advice
and installing Sumatra, the problem seems to be solved. Thank you for your
help!
